PeaceQuest 2017 Kick-Off

PeaceQuest 2017 will kick-off with a family fun Peace Quest "Day of Action" on Sunday, September 17 at 2 p.m. to celebrate the UN International Day of Peace and will be followed by a week of events in the Greater Lansing Area.

"Day of Action" will be held at the Cherry Lane Field on MSU's campus at Harrison and Wilson Road and is FREE, including parking across the street at the houses of faith along Harrison Road. It will begin with a march followed by peace-related activities for all ages, including music, art yoga, games, and food. Everyone is welcome!

Participants are invited to wear attire that expresses their nationality, school, community of faith, team, as well as peace related tees, hats, signs for the peace march. 

PeaceQuest is hosted by the Greater Lansing United Nations Association, Peace Education Center, Niagara Foundation Michigan, and Shalom Center for Justice and Peace.
