Alumni-funded Scholarship

The College of Social Science Alumni Association Study Abroad Scholarship

The College of Social Science Alumni Association began awarding annual $500 scholarships in 1997 for students majoring in a College of Social Science discipline who planned to participate in a study abroad program coordinated by a member of the Social Science faculty. In 1999, the fund was fully endowed, and in 2002 the former CSSAA Board of Directors made a decision to increase the annual amount available to students in order to offer two $1,500 each year.
