Career Services - Exploring Careers

Choosing a major and a career requires a careful review of career options measured against knowledge of your own values, interests, and abilities.  Now is the time to take charge of your career planning.  Early, in-depth planning plays an important role in the identification of career paths, complementary course work, and relevant field experience.

Graduates of the College of Social Science enter into careers in a variety of fields such as government, business, industry, education, human services, law, and medicine.  While approximately a third of our graduates continue their education in graduate or professional school immediately after graduation, the majority seek employment upon completion of their bachelor’s degree.
