Career Services - Searching for Jobs

Preparing for a job search requires an awareness of your goals and skills, an understanding of the labor market, and a well planned job search campaign. The length of time it takes to land a position depends on the job market and a variety of other factors such as the candidate's number of networking contacts, willingness to relocate, experience level and quality of job search correspondence.  It is recommended that you start your search early, as a successful job search can often take months and requires much preparation. It is also important to utilize multiple search methods.
