College Career Development Services
Students prepared in one of the social, behavioral, or economic sciences at Michigan State University have a wide range of career options. Assisting students in exploring careers and activities that match their values, interests, and abilities is a primary function of the College’s Career Services Office. To help prepare students for life after MSU, the Career Services Office:

Provides one-on-one career advising to help students assess their career interests and goals, develop job/internship search strategies and/or plan for graduate school
- Connects students with specific information about careers, labor market trends, and employers

Cultivates and promotes internship/job opportunities with employers

Leads workshops on a variety of topics such as resume writing, interviewing & communication skills and choosing a graduate program

Offers a course each semester on job search strategies
