Experience music, cuisine and festivals in one of the most vibrant cities in America! New Orleans provides an unforgettable immersion in distinct styles of music, food and celebrations. 

Summer Internship Program consists of an eight-week experience based on student interest areas and arranged by MSU’s College of Social Science in cooperation with Tulane University. Internships are in local agencies providing social services to the community. These internships are appropriate for underclassmen looking for their first internship experience.

Program Dates: May 16 to July 15, 2017 (to be confirmed)

 Courses: SSC 490, SSC 493, HDFS 493, PSY 382, 6 credit minimum

Housing: Tulane housing at Deming Pavilion

Program Fee: $2,000*

Application Deadline:
Early Admittance - October 15th
Summer - March 15th

Students pay tuition plus program fee.  Program Fee covers housing and orientation activities. Program Fee does NOT include tuition cost, meals, travel to and from New Orleans, travel within New Orleans, or personal spending money.
