International Internships

Social Science majors expect their careers to be related to people and their environment. By cultivating and increasing their expertise in global issues they become much more effective in making successful career choices.

Awareness and knowledge of global issues are no longer optional. Employers expect employees to be:

  • Savvy global thinkers
  • Cross-culturally competent
  • Skilled in using diverse resources and approaches to enhance productivity

Engagement in opportunities to build global awareness and competence can be achieved within the College of Social Science in numerous ways. The College partners with the Office of Study Abroad and other Colleges in offering a wide range of opportunities to participate in a study abroad experience. More than 50 Faculty-Led programs, 15+ International Internship programs and 25+ Co-Sponsored/Exchange programs are currently offered to all students.

Plan early to find a program that fits your interests and academic needs. College-sponsored study abroad programs are available that meet university, college, major, minor, language, and/or cognate requirements.
