Five Social Scientists receive Board of Trustees Award for Perfect 4.0 G.P.A.

Five College of Social Science graduating seniors are among the 62 Michigan State University students that received a Board of Trustees Award for Academic Excellence.
During its Dec. 15 meeting, the MSU Board of Trustees presented the group of graduating seniors with the Board of Trustees’ Award, recognizing their achievement of the highest scholastic average one can receive, a 4.0 GPA.
In addition to being recognized by the Board of Trustees, students also were acknowledged during their individual commencement ceremonies in December and received $1,000 from the university for their accomplishments.
The College of Social Science students honored for this achievement include:
- Anna K. Brown, who earned a bachelor’s in criminal justice from the College of Social Science, is from Ionia, Michigan, and attended Ionia High School.
- Evelyn A. Cook, who earned a bachelor’s in anthropology from the College of Social Science, is an honor student from Franklin, Tennessee, and attended Franklin High School.
- Mariah D. Fletcher, who earned a bachelor’s in criminal justice from the College of Social Science, is an honor student from Grand Ledge, Michigan, and attended Grand Ledge High School.
- Rishabh Rai, who earned a bachelor’s in psychology from the College of Social Science, is an honor student from Novi, Michigan, and attended Novi High School.
- Advait Rathi, who earned a bachelor’s in psychology from the College of Social Science, is an honor student from Ghaziabad, India, and attended Amity International School.
