The MSU Youth Equity Project recently hosted Dr. Nancy Rodriguez (UC-Irvine) on campus for a keynote address on Making Social Justice Non-Negotiable in Crime Policy and Practice.
A Professor of Criminology, Law and Society at the UC-Irvine School of Social Ecology, Dr. Rodriguez’s research focuses on race, crime and justice, juvenile justice, and collateral consequences of incarceration. Prior to joining UC-Irvine, Dr. Rodriguez served as the Director of the National Institute of Justice from 2015 to 2017 under President Obama.
