39 Social Science graduates receive Board of Trustees' Award for Academic Excellence earning a 4.0 G.P.A.

Two hundred seventy-five Michigan State University graduates accomplished something many students dream of — a perfect college GPA. Among this group included 39 College of Social graduating seniors.

During its April 11 meeting, the MSU Board of Trustees presented these graduating seniors with the Board of Trustees’ Award, recognizing their achievement of the highest scholastic average one can receive, a 4.0 GPA.

In addition to receiving the board’s recognition, students also will be acknowledged during the spring commencement ceremonies and will receive a cord highlighting their accomplishments.

The College of Social Science students honored for this achievement include:

Malka O. Alfadel, who earned a bachelor’s in psychology from the College of Social Science, is a member of the Honors College from Okemos, Michigan.

 Reilly S. Allen, who earned a bachelor’s in urban and regional planning from the College of Social Science, is a member of the Honors College from Buffalo Grove, Illinois.

Tazkira Amin, who earned a bachelor’s in social work from the College of Social Science, is a member of the Honors College from Warren, Michigan.

Heidi L. Blackwell, who earned a bachelor’s in criminal justice from the College of Social Science, is a member of the Honors College from Troy, Michigan.

Brendan W. Burt, who earned a bachelor’s in history-social studies education from the College of Social Science and is from Buckley, Michigan.

Sarah E. De Zwaan, who earned a bachelor’s in criminal justice from the College of Social Science and is from Manchester, Michigan.

Mason J. Dellot, who earned a bachelor’s in criminal justice from the College of Social Science and is from Saline, Michigan.

Jesse E. Doolin, who earned a bachelor’s in political science-prelaw from the College of Social Science, is a member of the Honors College from Royal Oak, Michigan.

Ayden L. Ferris, who earned a bachelor’s in history-social studies education from the College of Social Science, is a member of the Honors College from Lansing, Michigan.

Sean D. Fitzgerald, who earned a bachelor’s in psychology from the College of Social Science, is a member of the Honors College from Ann Arbor, Michigan.

Eli Flikkema, who earned a bachelor’s in urban and regional planning from the College of Social Science, is a member of the Honors College from Cedar Falls, Iowa.

Sasha J. Franklin, who earned a bachelor’s in anthropology from the College of Social Science, is a member of the Honors College from Toledo, Ohio.

Lauren E. Golden, who earned a bachelor’s in sociology and in psychology from the College of Social Science, is a member of the Honors College from Troy, Michigan.

Casey Q. Gruber, who earned a bachelor’s in criminal justice from the College of Social Science and is from Troy, Michigan.

Lauren Keith, who earned a bachelor’s in psychology from the College of Social Science, is a member of the Honors College from South Lyon, Michigan.

Srinija Kondur, who earned a bachelor’s in psychology from the College of Social Science, is a member of the Honors College from Canton, Michigan.

Jolie A. Kretzschmar, who earned a bachelor’s in psychology from the College of Social Science, is a member of the Honors College from Saline, Michigan.

Isabella C. Kupe, who earned a bachelor’s in psychology from the College of Social Science and is from Clarkston, Michigan.

Knickolas A. Laux, who earned a bachelor’s in mathematics from the College of Natural Science and in economics from the College of Social Science, is a member of the Honors College from Toledo, Ohio.

Anna Le Page, who earned a bachelor’s in history from the College of Social Science, is a member of the Honors College from Ann Arbor, Michigan.

Zachary Nessel, who earned a bachelor’s in political science from the College of Social Science and is from Plymouth, Michigan.

Anel I. Robinson, who earned a bachelor’s in political science from the College of Social Science and in African American and African Studies from the College of Arts and Letters, is a member of the Honors College from Brookfield, Wisconsin.

Sophia M. Ryan, who earned a bachelor’s in human development and family studies from the College of Social Science, is a member of the Honors College from La Jolla, California.

Breanne L. Sandstrom, who earned a bachelor’s in social work from the College of Social Science, is a member of the Honors College from Marquette, Michigan.

Adam C. Seeberg, who earned a bachelor’s in history-social studies education from the College of Social Science and is from Birmingham, Michigan.
