45 College of Social Science graduates receive Board of Trustees' Award for academic excellence, 4.0 GPA

45 College of Social Science students are among the three hundred and fifteen graduating seniors with a perfect 4.0 GPA.
During its April 10 meeting, the MSU Board of Trustees presented the graduating seniors with the Board of Trustees’ Award, recognizing their achievement of the highest scholastic average one can receive: a 4.0 GPA.
Along with the board recognition, students will also be acknowledged during the spring commencement ceremonies.
The College of Social Science students honored for this achievement include:
- Elizabeth A. Allard, who earned a bachelor’s in economics from the College of Social Science and is from Grand Blanc, Michigan.
- Nicholas T. Basista, who earned a bachelor’s in biochemistry and molecular biology from Lyman Briggs College and in anthropology from the College of Social Science, is a member of the Honors College from Perrysburg, Ohio.
- Rachael E. Beck, who earned a bachelor’s in social work from the College of Social Science and is from Shelby Township, Michigan.
- Nicole E. Becker, who earned a bachelor’s in psychology from the College of Social Science and is from Blacklick, Ohio.
- Rachael L. Blanchard, who earned a bachelor’s in psychology from the College of Social Science and is from Warren, Michigan.
- Jacky T. Cao, who earned a bachelor’s in psychology from the College of Social Science and is from Sterling Heights, Michigan.
- Kaylin R. Casper, who earned a bachelor’s in sociology from the College of Social Science and in humanities-prelaw from the College of Arts and Letters, is a member of the Honors College from Burbank, California.
- Charlotte H. Cline, who earned a bachelor’s in social work from the College of Social Science, is a member of the Honors College from Farmington Hills, Michigan.
