In its 2022 America’s Best Graduate Schools ranking, U.S. News and World Report recognized four of the MSU College of Social Science graduate programs as among the top 20 in the nation.
The following programs earning national recognition are:
U.S. News & World Report does not rank all graduate programs annually, meaning that the College of Social Science's industrial/organizational psychology graduate program has maintained its top-ranking position of #1 according to 2021 rankings. Also according to 2021 rankings, the School of Criminal Justice’s online graduate program is #5 in the nation.
"It is an incredible honor to be recognized on a national level for our commitment to providing our students with the best possible education," said Dean of the College of Social Science, Dr. Mary Finn, Ph.D.
"I want to congratulate all of our faculty and staff who have worked to make these outstanding programs what they are today."
Beyond the College of Social Science, 12 other MSU graduate programs were also included in the nation's top 20, with five coming in at number one. Learn more about these programs here.
