College of Social Science celebrates 24 2022 Graduates with 4.0 Awards from Board Of Trustees

24 students in the College of Social Science were among a record breaking 179 MSU students that have achieved a perfect 4.0 GPA for their entire MSU academic careers. The students were recognized by the MSU Board of Trustees during their April 22 meeting with the Trustees' Award for Academic Excellence.

 

The College of Social Science students recognized for their outstanding academic achievements are as followed: 

 

Saanya Advani of Canton, Michigan and attended Canton High School. Advani is a Criminal Justice major, she is also in the Honors College

Alyssa Bellini is from Macomb, Michigan and attended Chippewa Valley High School. Bellini is a Political Science-Pre Law major. 

Alexander Birkle is from Ann Arbor, Michigan and attended Saline High School. Birkle is a Public Policy Major and a member of the Honors College.

Alexis Brecht is from Shelby Township, Michigan and attended Utica Center for Mathematics. Brecht is a Psychology major in the College of Social Scienceas well as a Genomics and Molecular Genetics in the College of Natural Science. Bercht is also a member of the Honors College.

Michael Breslin is from Oak Forest, Illinois and attended Marian Catholic High School. Breslin is a Political Science major and a member of the Honors College.

Nicholas Catanzaro is from East Lansing, Michigan and attended Skyline High School. Catanzaro is a Environmental Geography major and a member of the Honors College

Emily Cohen is from Dexter, Michigan and attended Saline High School. Cohen is a Social Work major and a member of the Honors College

Isabella Fatseas is from Shelby Township, Michigan and attended Dakota High School. Fatseas is a Psychology major.

Christian Fiaschetti is from Rochester, Michigan and attended Stoney Creek High School. Fiaschetti is a Psychology major.

Amanda Hawkins is from Novi, Michigan and attended Northville High School. Hawkins is a Psychology major and a member of the Honors College.

Rheyya Hollins is from Warren, Michigan and attended Paul K Cousino Senior High School. Hollins is a Psychology major and a member of the Honors College.

Marguerite Jenkins is from Traverse City, Michigan and attended Traverse City Central High School. Jenkins is a Psychology major and a member of the Honors College.

Helen Josephson is from Clarkston, Michigan and attended Clarkston Senior High School. Josephson is a Criminal Justice major.

Myrna Kada is from Sterling Heights, Michigan and attended Adlai E Stevenson High School. Kada is a Criminal Justice major  and a member of the Honors College.

Taylor Kovach is from Lincoln Park, Michigan and attended Riverview Community High School. Kovach is a Psychology major, and a member of the Honors College.

Brianna Lind is from Roseville, Michigan and attended Roseville High School. Lind is a Psychology major.

Ryan Mann is from Belleville, Michigan and attended Belleville High School. Mann is a Criminal Justice major.

Gregory Marchal is from Green River, Wyoming and attended Green River High School. Marchal is an Economics major and a member of the Honors College.

Kathryn O’Connell is from Grand Rapids, Michigan and attended East Grand Rapids High School.O’Connell is a Human Development and Family Studies major and a member of the Honors College.

Kelsey Reichert is from Rockford, Michigan and attended Rockford Senior High School. Reichert is a Political Science major and a member of the Honors College.

Morgan Shultis is from Birmingham, Michigan and attended Seaholm High School. Shultis is a Psychology major and a member of the Honors College.

Thomas Sullivan is from Plymouth, Michigan and attended Plymouth High School. Sullivan is a Criminal Justice major.

Tanner Thering is from Dimondale, Michigan and attended Holt High School. Thering is an Economics major and a member of the Honors College.

Camber Ziesler is from Ann Arbor, Michigan and attended Skyline High School. Ziesler is a Psychology major.

 

In addition to being recognized by the Board of Trustees, the students also will be acknowledged during their individual commencement ceremonies in May and will receive $1,000 from the university for their accomplishments.
