Graduate Student Research Award

We are proud to sponsor the Future of Work Graduate Student Research Award competition. This award will provide a $3,000 award to a current MSU graduate student in any program, department, or school to help fund the completion and/or dissemination of research on the evolution and future of work, broadly defined. 

To apply, please send an email with:

  1. a 3-page PDF attachment of your research proposal (including background, methods, brief description of the research team, and potential implications and long term goals of the project);

  2. an itemized budget that includes research expenses (e.g., participant payments, equipment, software, transcription and/or translation, editing); and

  3. a detailed research completion timeline, to Dyan Smith ( smithdya@msu.edu ) no later than February 10, 2024. The winner will be announced by March 8  and will be expected to provide a photo/headshot and write a brief statement about their work, which may be featured in listserv, newsletter, and website spotlights.
