Essentials Corner

The Office of Institutional Access (OIA) has created the Essentials Corner, a cabinet located in the alcove near the elevators on the first floor of Berkey Hall.

The goal of the Corner is to provide access to basic care items for all students within the College of Social Science.

This spring semester, OIA is launching the "Stock the Corner" supply drive to help us collect items we need to fill the cabinet. We are asking for your help! Specifically, we are collecting snacks, personal care items, school supplies and winter clothing items.  Please see below for details.

Most Needed Items:

  • Snacks: Individually packaged: granola bars, trail mix, apple sauce pouches, meat sticks, chips, etc.
  • Personal Care: laundry detergent pods, travel size: deodorant, shampoo & conditioner, lotion, bodywash, toothpaste
  • School Supplies: Notebooks, pens, mechanical pencils, and Post-it notes
  • Winter Clothing: socks, warm hats, gloves

How you can help:

  • Drop off needed care items: Bring snacks, personal care items and school supplies to The Office of Institutional Access Office (Berkey Hall Room 442) 8am-4pm Monday through Friday.
  • Shop Online: Use our Amazon Wish List  for direct shipping of care items to our office
  • Or donate (click the link or scan QR code on the right) QR Code to give to the Essentials Corner

The drive will continue through the spring semester, in hopes to help our office replenish items that are used by students.
