Cliff Broman

Professor - Sociology 

Dr. Cliff Broman is a Professor of Sociology at Michigan State University. Within the fields of family, health, and medicine, he researches substance abuse and mental health as well as racial and ethnic inequality. His publications have appeared in the American Journal of Public Health, Journal of Child and Adolescent Substance Abuse, Journal of Child and Adolescent Behavior, Learning Disabilities: A Multidisciplinary Journal, Psychological Services, and Drug and Alcohol Dependence. He received his Ph.D. in Sociology from the University of Michigan in 1984, an M.A. in Sociology from Washington University in St. Louis in 1979, and a B.G.S. from the University of Michigan in 1977.
