Rachel is the Interim Senior Director of Development for the College of Social Science. Having worked for the development team for the past 12 years, Rachel has a deep understanding of the college and fundraising success. Rachel has a background in marketing and communications and works closely with leadership to develop fundraising priorities aimed at student scholarships, research initiatives and academic programs. The most rewarding part of her work is sharing these initiatives with philanthropic alumni and supporters who are eager to see them come to fruition. 

Rachel strategically engages with signatory philanthropy, mentoring and educational priorities for the college and works collaboratively with their corresponding unit leaders and directors to build a pipeline of donors and supporters who care about the mission of Michigan State University and the college of transforming the human experience and inspiring leaders. 

Rachel earned her Bachelors of Science from Central Michigan University and her Masters of Higher Adult Lifelong Education from Michigan State University's College of Education.
