    The multicultural unity center is a space for students to study, hold meetings, and have important conversations in a welcoming environment. MOSAIC represents thousands of students at Michigan State and welcomes all.

    MSU Dialogues

    MSU Dialogues is an intergroup dialogue program for students, faculty and staff at Michigan State. It is a face-to-face learning experience that brings together people from different identity groups over a sustained period of time to:

    • Understand our commonalities and differences
    • Examine the nature and impact of societal inequalities
    • Explore ways of working together toward greater equity and justice
    • Prepare individuals to live, work, and lead in a complex, diverse stratified society

      • Latino Student Mentoring Program
        • Making college an exciting, fulfilling and successful experience to increase retention and graduation of Latino students. The Latino Student Mentoring Program (LSMP) aims to ease the academic and social transition from high school to college for first-year students by connecting them to resources that help with this adjustment.

      • Latino Unidos
        • Latinos Unidos is a mentoring initiative in collaborations with Migrant Students Services, Neighborhood Student Success Collaborative and the Office of Cultural and Academic Transitions. This program aims to cultivate an engaged support network for Latino Males during their undergraduate experience to improve retention and graduation at Michigan State University. Latinos Unidos has a strong focus on mentoring, leadership development, community engagement, and collective impact, all of which serve to address the goal of enhancing the overall academic success and retention of Latino male students. 

      • Nibowaakaa Mentoring Initiative
        • The Nibowaakaa Mentoring Initiative is a new program for interested American Indian/Alaskan Native/Native American & Indigenous students. Participants will be matched for one year, with a peer, faculty, staff or community member.

    The Resource Center for Persons with Disability (RCPD) creates a welcoming environment and maximizes ability and opportunity for full participation by persons with disabilities while challenging people to redefine disability.

    Transforming Theatre Ensemble

    Transforming Theatre Ensemble (TTE) uses theatrical sketches to provide an interactive learning experience that engages faculty, staff, student and community audiences in collaborative problem-solving. Using a variety of theatrical formats followed by interactive discussions led by a skilled facilitator, TTE encourages reflection and analysis of problematic attitudes and behaviors, as a step toward transformation.
