This scholarship is intended to encourage students who have demonstrated the capacity to achieve educational and professional goals, the motivation to achieve these goals, and the initiative to seek opportunities to further their progress.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Students who are pursuing a primary or second degree at the College of Social Science and are participating in a Study Away program in the Washington, D.C. area.
- Students who are also participating in an internship program in the Washington, D.C. area may also apply.
- The Study Away or internship program may occur in the Spring, Summer or Fall semester.
- We are currently accepting applications for programs occurring in Spring 2027.
- Students must be in Good academic standing.
- Preference will be given to Criminal Justice majors.
HOW IT CAN BE USED: Funds may be used to support their study away trip.
AMOUNT: Up to two (2) $3,000 scholarships.
TO APPLY:
- Complete the application.
- An MSU Faculty, Staff, or Advisor may complete the Undergraduate Reference Form (optional)
NOTE: All required materials must be submitted by the deadline to be considered with the application.
