The Women’s Leadership Institute (WLI) is a collaborative effort between Michigan State University, alumni, professional women, and current students.
WLI has been designed to support and empower women students with leadership aspirations. We ignite women leaders with a vision of advancing leadership equity for women globally through thought leadership, creating a sustainable community, and providing high quality programming for our students, faculty and MSU community.
MSU programs and activities are not restricted based on race, sex, color, ethnicity, national origin or other protected personal identity. This program is open to students without restriction or preference based on protected personal identity. The WLI welcomes full participation of all interested students regardless of sex.
DSAC responsibilities include selection of the College of Social Science commencement speaker; selection of undergraduate representatives to those standing committees of the college governance on which undergraduate representation is appropriate; and consideration of college-level academic policy issues or similar matters on which the dean wishes to obtain varied and representative undergraduate opinion.
The College of Social Science Ambassador Program connects students with trained peer leaders who are here to support your success. Ambassadors host office hours, events, and workshops to help you navigate college, build community, and discover resources within CSS and across campus. Whether you’re looking for advice, encouragement, or ways to get involved, our Ambassadors are here for you.

The College of Social Science Outstanding Student Achievement Awards debuted in 2015, founded by Micaela Procopio and Leigh Rauk, to honor students who would not otherwise be acknowledged for their contributions to the College of Social Science. Awards winners are formally recognized each year.
