College of Social Science Student Leadership and Development Fund

The College of Social Science Student Leadership and Development Expendable Fund supports scholarships and professional development for students, research, technology and programmatic support for the Women’s Leadership Institute.

Belote Graduate Assistantships

The Belote Women’s Leadership Graduate Assistantship provides support for a Graduate Assistant to lead and conduct research. Funding provides opportunities for professional development, creating connections to graduate students, leading support programs for graduate students, and assisting with creating the student cohort curriculum.  

Experiential Learning Fund

Women’s Leadership Institute Experiential Learning Fund allows student leaders to deepen their knowledge of the critical issues surrounding women’s leadership and promote equity for those leaders through a supported experience in study abroad, study away, or internships. 

Tomlanovich-Dimond Leadership Research Advancement Fund

Each year two research teams comprised of a faculty member and undergraduate student are awarded $10,000 ($5,000 for the faculty member and $5,00 for the undergraduate student) to support work that builds upon the vision of the WLI to advance leadership for everyone globally.

Mason Soneral Faculty Fellow

The Mason Soneral Faculty Fellow is a unique and dynamic position within the College of Social Science that works to support and bring innovation to the MSU Women’s Leadership Institute.  

Sollenberger Women’s Leadership Institute Student Cohort

Expenditures from the Endowment will be used to support the Women's Leadership Institute in the College of Social Science, or its future successor MSU unit, if any, at the discretion of the Dean of the College of Social Science and in consultation with the Director of the Women's Leadership Institute.

Ebert Family Leadership Scholarship Fund

Undergraduate students enrolled in the College of Social Science with financial need who have indicated an interest in a career in non-profit and/or Non-Government Organizations (NGO) will be eligible for this award. Applicants will be asked to write a short essay on the impact of women leadership within the non-profit or NGO sector. Additionally, state how specific life experience relates to personal career goals, aspirations, and how one day may pay it forward.

Loaiza-Souza Leadership Award

WLI student cohort members only. Junior and senior-level undergraduates with a minimum GPA of 3.5 will be consider award. Applicants will be asked to write a short essay on the impact of global leaders as well as their own personal leadership experience and goals. In addition, students may be asked to submit their current resume, cover letter, and curriculum vitae.
